General Manager - Hospitality

We are looking for top General Managers for 3/4 Star Hotels Based in the Northern Cape.

Minimum Requirements

• Completed Matric with relevant Hospitality Diploma (SA)
• ID and Driver's License with own reliable transport
• Vast Hotel and Food and Beverage experience (NOT NEGOTIABLE)
• Must have previously managed between 20 and 35 hotel staff
• Fluent in Afrikaans & English (speak, read and write)
• Maintenance knowledge essential
• Must have a track record of managing a profitable Hotel (present proof)
• Be innovative, self-thinking and can think out of the box
• Excellent Computer skills (MS Word, Excel and Outlook)
• Excellent Accounting/admin skills

Duties and Responsibilities (Will vary daily)

• Handle the high-level day-to- day operations and general strategy to improve the overall business functions of the Hotel
• Managing all staff and overseeing all departments
• Setting common goals for the team and develop a productive/profitable environment
• Communicate your vision and passion to your staff clearly and set guidelines
• Give training when and if necessary to improve team moral and skills set

Additional information

• Salary scale of R25 000 to R35 000 plus monthly profit share
• Leave benefits – 21 days annual leave with five (5) days off a month, extra day off for Sunday work
• Single accommodation on site is provided (this includes electricity and water)
• Linen and food excluded
• Locations of the Hotels will be disclosed during the interview
