L'Avenir Wine Farm, a renowned producer of premium Pinotage and Chenin Blanc wines, invites two enthusiastic interns to join our team for the upcoming harvest season. Our farm, situated in the picturesque Stellenbosch region, offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in winemaking.
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
-Grape sampling and analysis.
-Receival and processing of grapes.
-Fermentation management.
-Punch downs and pump overs.
-Barrel work.
-Cleaning of cellar and equipment.
Requirements:
-Willingness to work long and flexible hours including weekends.
-Strong attention to detail.
-Excellent communication skills.
-Ability to work well in a team and under pressure.
-Previous harvest experience would be to your advantage.
