A renowned producer of premium Bordeaux cultivar wines invites two enthusiastic interns to join our team for the upcoming harvest season. Our farm, situated in the picturesque Stellenbosch region, offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in winemaking, working closely with the winemaker. Additionally, the cellar provides services to clients in harvest, providing various learning environments.
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
-Grape sampling and analysis.
-Receival and processing of grapes.
-Fermentation management.
-Punch downs and pump overs.
-Barrel work.
-Cleaning of cellar and equipment.
Requirements:
-Willingness to work long and flexible hours including weekends.
-Strong attention to detail.
-Excellent communication skills.
-Ability to work well in a team and under pressure.
-Previous harvest experience would be to your advantage.
