Babylonstoren has an exciting opportunity for a bottling and labelling operator to join the cellar team.
Requirements:
- A completed National Senior Certificate qualification (Matric/Grade 12).
- 3-5 years’ experience working on GAI machinery.
- Valid forklift licence would be advantageous.
- SKOP (Senior Cellar Assistant Training Programme) (1-3) would be advantageous.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Knowledge of the winemaking process.
- Detail orientated and trustworthy.
- Must be able to work in a team and also complete tasks independently.
- Must have own transport.
Responsibilities:
- All tasks relating to bottling and labelling.
- Assist with general stock management (applying the FIFO method).
- Assist with packing of daily orders (local and international).
- Setup of machinery.
- Maintenance and cleaning of machinery.
