Our Paarl based export operation to the US is looking for part time help (approximately 40-60 hours/month) with a variety of marketing functions for two high growth non-alcoholic wine brands:

This role is mostly remote  (i.e. ‘work from home 80% of the time’). Our physical office is in Paarl (Val de Vie Estate).

We’d like a ‘hands-on/self-starter’ person, happy getting their ‘hands-dirty’ when necessary (e.g. self-creating content/self-researching and problem solving and doing work vs outsourcing everything to an agency/external specialist).

We are a small team and growing relatively fast. We sell exclusively in the US & Canada but base some functions (e.g. marketing) in South Africa.

Responsibilities (below list is likely too long, some items could be outsourced)

Social media ~50%

Increase our social metrics

# of followers, Likes & Comments, Volume & Sentiment, Shares & Saves, Clicks, Reach & Impressions, Aud Demographics, Referral traffic, Engagement

Create quarterly plans and a reporting system.

Create great posts & videos.

Respond to user messages.

Work in the Meta suite.

            IG (Organic & some paid Ads)

FB (Organic & some paid Ads)

LinkedIn

TikTok (maybe later?)

PR ~10%

Review current. Suggest strategy & implement.

Likely partner with a US based agency.

Amazon ~10%

Review current site, suggest & implement edits.

Work with US partner to ensure we perform optimally.

Some paid Ads maybe.

Marketing Materials ~10%

Review current (e.g. CI, Sell Sheets, Shelf talkers etc.) suggest edits & implement.

E.g. work with Adobe or Canva.

Website ~10%

Review current Shopify site, suggest edits & implement.

            Ux (great content, of customer value)

SEO (AdWords maybe later?)

Brand & Marketing Strategy ~5%

Review the current strategy and suggest edits.

Email Marketing  ~5%

Partnerships TBC

Review examples like Athletic Brewing, make suggestions & implement.

Vendors Management

Suggest vendor partners or edits to existing partners.

Experience

Demonstrated ability to increase brand (wine or beverage experience favored) visibility to consumers & customers.
