Farm Manager

Our client in Paarl is looking to employ an Farm Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the farming operations.

Duties and Responsibilities include; but not limited to:

• Train and supervise staff.
• Coordination of employee tasks
• Initiating orders of required materials and products
• Organizing work processes and ensuring that everything runs smoothly
• Carrying out minor accounting and documenting working hours
• Assist with manual work on the farm

Experience & characteristics required for this role:

• Experience in employee management and coordination is an advantage
• Good organisational skills and a structured way of working
• Basic knowledge of bookkeeping or accounting
• Ability to work in a team and strong communication skills
• Valid driver's license

Minimum requirements:

Relevant degree or diploma
Own vehicle

Experience required:  3 years’ experience in a similar position
Start date: As soon as possible
Location: Paarl, Western Cape

 Working conditions: The conditions will include working outdoors, regular evening and weekend work. Normal working hours will be based on operational requirements of the business.
Job Type: Full Time; Permanent with a 3-month probation period
Package: Negotiable based on experience and expertise
