Assistant Winemaker on Prestige Wine Estate

Haute Cabriere is looking for an Assistant Winemaker for the 2025 harvest. Haute Cabriere, situated in the picturesque Franschhoek valley produces a wide range of Cap Classique, red and white wines. The successful candidate will be Involved in all aspects of winemaking including, but not limited to: 

• Grape sampling
• Analysis of juice and wine
• Fruit receival
• Rackings and additions
• Fermentation control
• Red winemaking (pump overs, punch downs)
• Barrel management
• Cellar hygiene      

A relevant tertiary qualification is preferable, and the successful candidate would be required to

work overtime and weekends. Unfortunately only local candidates will be considered for this position

due to practical and logistical reasons.
