We have a dynamic opportunity for an experienced Front of House / Floor Manager at a renowned Coffee Roastery & Eatery in Franschhoek.
The ideal individual has a strong hospitality background, is highly service and guest orientated with a solid operational skill set, ability to lead and manage a team effectively, excellent communication and interpersonal skills and has initiative and attention to detail.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
Requirements and Experience:
• Hospitality Management Qualification advantageous
• Hands-on approach to F&B operations
• Staff training and development ability
• Confident and excellent communication skills
• Guest and service centric approach
• Able to work flexible hours including weekends and public holidays
• Passion for the hospitality industry
• Own vehicle and valid driver’s license is beneficial
Examples of Responsibilities:
• Ensure the smooth running of the daily front of house operations
• Being actively on the floor during service to ensure excellent guest interaction and service excellence
• Inventory management and supplier liaison
• Monitor compliance with safety and hygiene regulations
• General administrative duties: staff rosters, time and attendance, managing bookings, enquiries and on-line sales
• Staff management and development
