Purpose of the role:  The F&B Manager must ensure exceptional guest experiences through effective planning and management of orders, staff, and finances. The primary goal is to maximize sales and revenue by exceeding customer expectations, fostering a motivated team, and prioritizing quality and efficiency. By implementing innovative strategies and upholding high standards, the F&B Manager will drive the success of the department and enhance overall guest satisfaction

Criteria:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Food & Beverage Manager in a 5-star environment
  • Degree / Culinary school diploma or in Food Service Management, Hospitality, or a related field
  • Working knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS)
  • Excellent leadership and decision-making abilities
  • Effective communication skills, with a focus on building and maintaining customer and team relationships
  • Ability to manage budgets and operational costs efficiently
  • Creative and proactive approach to menu development and F&B trends
  • Ability to manage personnel and meet financial target
  • Excellent proficiency in the English language

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Oversee all F&B and daily operations, ensuring they meet budgetary guidelines and adhere to high standards
  • Maintain outstanding levels of internal and external customer service
  • Design creative menus, manage purchasing, and implement continuous improvements
  • Identify and proactively respond to customer needs and feedback
  • Lead and develop the F&B team, including attracting, recruiting, training, and evaluating staff
  • Set targets, KPIs, schedules, and ensure adherence to policies and procedures
  • Foster open communication and create a positive, team-oriented environment focused on motivation and accountability
  • Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Prepare and report on sales results, productivity, and other relevant management metrics
