Our client, in the hospitality industry, is looking for an Assistant Hotel Manager to join their team. Our client is based in the Northern Suburbs (Cape Town). The Assistant Hotel Manager supports the Hotel Manager in ensuring smooth daily operations, excellent guest satisfaction, and efficient staff performance. This role focuses on providing high-quality service while upholding hotel standards and policies.
RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Assist the Hotel Manager in overseeing all hotel departments, including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests promptly and professionally.
- Supervise and train staff, fostering a positive work environment and high performance.
- Monitor operational expenses and assist in budget management.
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, and legal regulations.
- Support in managing hotel events, meetings, and VIP guest arrangements.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Matric required.
- Tertiary qualification in hospitality will advantageous.
- Proven experience in hospitality management or a similar role.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Knowledge of hotel management software is a plus.
HOURS:
Morning shift : 6:30 - 14:00
Afternoon shift : 14:00 - 23:00
Weekends included
