Seeking Experienced Farm Manager for a Heritage Estate in Bottelary Hills

We have a great opportunity for a dedicated and hard working individual on one of Cape Town's Hidden Gem Estates. 

A majestic heritage estate has recently come under new ownership and we are looking to appoint a Farm/Estate Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations on the estate. The owners are based in the USA, so it will be your responsibility to oversee all teams and operations on the estate, and also to report back to them directly.  

Requirements:
- Individual must be fluent in both Afrikaans and English
- Have a valid license and own transport (for work related driving, a vehicle will be available). 
- Be a Christian - the farm is owned by the Save the World Foundation, a Christian ministry doing outreaches to the schools of South Africa. 
- Be hard working and dedicated individual. 
- At least 5 years worth of experience in a similar role. 
- Any relevant qualifications (events management/agriculture degree or diploma/mechanical training)

Responsibilities:
- Oversee a team of 4 permanent workers and 6 day workers and allocate work as and where required. 
- Ensure all equipment and machines on the estate is in a good working order. 
- Regularly check perimeter and fences to ensure no unwanted people can access the estate. 
- Oversee all work being done on the estate, to ensure it is done to the highest standard. 
- Always ensure the estate, gardens and roads are kept in a good condition, as people often come onto the estate for viewings.
