Experienced Sous Chef required to form part of a dynamic team on an Upmarket Estate in the heart of Stellenbosch Winelands. The perfect individual is someone with a stable track record, excellent culinary skills and up to date with culinary trends, quality driven, a leader, stable and able to perform under pressure. International Sous Chef experience beneficial.
 
Minimum Requirements and Key Responsibilities
• A formal Culinary Education
• Minimum of 3-5 years‘ experience on Sous Chef level
• Assist with menu planning and costing recipes, food consumption, strict stock controls, stock management, stock movement, rotation and ordering and supplier liaison
• Excellent control of food cost, wastage and kitchen preparation
• Ongoing staff training and development
• Ensuring the team has high standards of food hygiene and follow the rules of health and safety
• Valid driver’s licence and own reliable transport a pre-requisite
• Computer literate
