Restaurant General Manager: Iconic and Upmarket Wine Estate (Stellenbosch Wine Route)

We have a dynamic opportunity for a RESTAURANT GENERAL MANAGER on an iconic Wine Farm in the heart of Stellenbosch Wine Route.

The Restaurant General Manager is responsible for the strategic and operational activities of the restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional Food and Beverage services. This upmarket restaurant trades lunches daily and offers a sophisticated dining experience.  

We are looking for an experienced Manager with at least 5 years senior management experience in a high-end restaurant environment. 

 Requirements and Experience:

• Bachelor degree and/or diploma in Hospitality Management, Food and Wine or other related field
• Strong financial and Business acumen
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent ability to lead, manage and develop a team effectively
• Strong ability to develop and manage policies, processes and procedures
• Ability to manage and ensure compliance with health, safety, security and other legal requirements
• Own reliable transport and valid driver’s license essential
