La Motte Bakery in the Franschhoek Valley requires a vibrant person, with an abundance of energy and enthusiasm, to express his/her creativity as Senior Sous-chef.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

* manage, lead and co-ordinate day-to-day running of the kitchen * collaborate with management to create seasonal menus and special offerings * oversee daily operations including orders and stock control * staff management * training of staff * cleanliness and neatness of kitchen

Applications are awaited from persons who comply with the following:

* a degree or diploma in culinary arts * at least three years’ experience in a similar position * strong leadership skills * creative mindset with a passion for innovation * excellent people skills * willingness to work weekends and public holidays * ability to work in a fast-paced environment * own transport
