Tasting Room Assistant

Hillcrest Estate, situated in the Durbanville Wine Valley produces wine and olive products. We are looking for a full-time tasting room assistant.

Duties:

• Welcome guests
• Present wine tastings
• Selling of wine and olive products
• Operating POS system
• Stock control
• General administration
• Tasting room opening and closing procedures (Stock take, cash-up, clean- and readiness of tasting room)

Requirements:

• Wine knowledge is necessary and olive knowledge will be an advantage
• Reside either in Durbanville or surrounding area
• Must have own reliable transport
• Fluent in both English and Afrikaans
• Computer literate
• Well-presented and enthusiastic
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work in a team
• Ability to work under pressure
  
  

Job Type: Full time (5 days a week and 1 weekend a month)

We offer basic salary plus commission.
