Adama Wines (Pty) Ltd., situated in Wellington, is seeking a dynamic, results-oriented Junior Sales Manager, with a proven track record, excellent negotiation abilities, and strong problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate should be capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for (but not limited to): *Implementing strategies to enhance sales performance *Increasing brand awareness, volume and market share efficiently *Identifying and developing new opportunities in both on- and off-trade sectors *Engaging with internal and external business networks and stakeholders *Achieving performance goals *Collaborating with Junior Brand Manager to explore and develop new business avenues *Compilation and execution of promotional plans with business associates and the media *Oversee the execution of all promotional material and activities *Supervision of participation in local wine competitions *Liaison with the Winemaker, in participation in local promotional activities *General administration *All other tasks related to this position.
Essential qualifications, skills, and experience:
• Diploma in Sales Management, or other relevant qualification;
• Minimum 3 years’ sales experience in the wine industry – comprehensive knowledge of value chains, financial costings, and sales data analysis;
• Strong computer literacy (MS Office);
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and presentation skills;
• Valid driver’s license;
• Willingness to travel to perform tasks (including weekends etc.).
