Warwick Wine Estate is looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Seasonal Barista/Bartender to become part of our vibrant Hospitality team for a fixed-term period.

Position Purpose:

The Seasonal Barista/Bartender is responsible for offering exceptional customer service through service excellence to our guests, maintaining rigorous stock management protocols, and delivering effective duty execution.

Requirements:

  • Grade 10 or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1 years’ experience in the wine and restaurant industry.
  • Basic Barista experience is advantageous.
  • Computer literate
  • English Language proficiency
  • Flexibility to work various hours, including weekends and public holidays.

  • Proficient in maintaining and managing stock levels, with an understanding of inventory practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Barista and Bartending Duties:
  • Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including coffee-based drinks and alcoholic/non-alcoholic drinks.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the barista and bar areas, ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned and stored.
  • Monitor beverage stock levels, ensuring timely restocking of supplies to avoid service interruptions.
  • Order Handling:
  • Accurately take and process guest orders, ensuring all requests are met efficiently and correctly.
  • Coordinate with the service team to ensure timely delivery of orders to guests.
  • Stock Management:
  • Assist with regular stock-taking, including counting and recording inventory levels.
  • Receive and verify incoming stock deliveries, ensuring accuracy and quality of products.
  • Report any discrepancies or issues with stock to management promptly.
  • General duties within the Hospitality Department:
  • Assist in the service areas as needed, including tasks such as waiting tables, running food and beverages, and attending to guest's needs.
  • Ensure all areas of the service environment are kept clean and orderly, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
  • Provide excellent customer service, addressing guest inquiries and collaborative and efficient work environment.
