Vacancy: Warehouse Assistant

Opstal Wine Estate, in the Slanghoek Valley near Rawsonville, are currently seeking a detail-oriented and energetic individual, who can assist in maintaining a well-organised warehouse, upholding safety standards and contributing to a dynamic and efficient team.  

Position Purpose:

As a Warehouse Assistant, your primary responsibilities include contributing to the smooth operation of the warehouse, ensuring efficient receiving, dispatching, reworking stock, order preparations, inventory control and maintaining a safe and well-organised work environment.  

Requirements:

• Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 years’ experience in general warehouse duties.
• Valid forklift licence and a minimum of two years’ experience operating a forklift.
• Valid Code 10 driver’s license with PDP
• Excellent planning and organising skills
• Attention to detail.
• Basic numerical skills
• Team player with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities:

• Receiving and Dispatching of orders

• Reworking of Stock

• Order Preparations

• Assisting with Labelling and Bottling

• Inventory Control

• Maintaining Health and Safety standards

• General Duties in other departments when needed
