Tokara Wine & Olive Estate is in search of a Tasting Room Manager for their Wine Lounge.
The successful candidate will have 5 years’ experience in a hospitality role with proven leadership skills.
Key responsibilities include:
- Manage and ensure a professional, efficient, and warm guest experience.
- Uphold and share the passion and knowledge of the brand and offerings.
- Manage administrative functions, including stock takes, staff administration, bookings and cash-ups.
- Ensure all guest queries are handles professionally and promptly.
- Adhere to company and departmental policies and procedures.
- Motivate team to meet sales goals and targets.
- Manage opening and closing procedures.
- Ensure that the Tasting Room is staffed during opening hours and is maintained to standards.
- Attend shows, events, and other brand representation requirements.
- All other tasks related to this position.
Essential qualifications, skills and experience:
• 5 years hospitality management experience;
• Strong verbal and written communication skills;
• Impeccable attention to detail, multitasking and planning;
• Ability to work weekends, public holidays;
• Have confidence in team collaboration, creative problem-solving, and conflict resolution.
Advantageous qualification: Cape Wine Academy or WSET Level 3 certification.
