Restaurant Manager: Upmarket Start-Up Restaurant (Durbanville Boutique Winery)

IDEAL CANDIDATE

We are looking for an energetic, self-motivated Restaurant Manager who is detailed orientated, calm and able to perform under pressure, with at least 3 year’s working experience in an upmarket restaurant environment. Hospitality Management qualification will be advantageous. Excellent wine knowledge beneficial, with a strong business acumen and ability to train and develop the front of house team.

Own reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license is essential.

THE KEY ROLE

The Restaurant Manager will be overall responsible for the smooth running of the daily front of house operations, offer an exceptional food and wine experience, with a hands-on approach to service excellence, staff development, coaching and staff disciplining, inventory control, orders and POS management, cost control and daily administrative duties.

REMUNERATION: R18 000 – R22 000 Basic (Relating to experience)
