We are seeking an energetic and dynamic Head Chef to join our team at Knus Karoo Kombuis in Paarl. The ideal individual is highly passionate about food and cooking, experienced in managing a small team and overall kitchen operations.
Responsibilities will include:
- staff management
- oversee and manage the overall kitchen operations
- menu and recipe design
- costings
- waste management
- inventory management
- cleanliness of kitchen
- health and safety management
Requirements for this position:
- a formal culinary qualification
- minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Head Chef in a similar environment
- contactable references
- leadership skills
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- own reliable transport
