Marketing Manager - Market Related

Blaauwklippen Hospitality (Pty) Ltd requires an experienced and hardworking marketer to join their Sales and Marketing Team. The main purpose of the position is to take responsibility for all Estate Brand Marketings. This role will report directly to the Brand Executive and will be instrumental in growing and revitalizing the Blaauwklippen Brand. The ideal candidate must be self-motivated, dynamic, proactive, take initiative, presentable and must be well-spoken, and fluent in English and Afrikaans.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Develop the marketing strategy and execution, including SEO optimisation, brand portfolio plan, strategic pillars, brand activities, and innovation roadmap,
• Lead delivery of the annual brand plan and commercial budget (volume, turnover, profit, marketing spends),
• Designing and creating of marketing materials and campaigns.
• Define brand positioning, portfolio strategy, and marketing mix execution,
• Develop & execute brand communication with the support of creative & media agencies,
• pipeline & drive execution with sale and marketing team,
• Develop innovation Trade marketing to deliver quarterly activity plans and trade execution with the Sales team,
• Be the consumer champion in the business, working cross functionally to drive the marketing agenda,
• Managing of Instagram and all other social media platforms (content creation, photos, editing, etc.)
• Photoshop and web proficient.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• At least 5+ years’ experience in marketing industry,
• Relevant marketing degree/ diploma,
• Strong project management and presentation skills
• Ability to communicate at all levels (business & customer interface)
• Interpret & understand complex financial, consumer and shopper data
• Initiate cross functional business approach & collaboration
• Ability to work independently
• Extensive knowledge of the wine industry will be an advantage
