A well-known national company is looking for a Planning & Procurement Manager (Production) to join their team on a full-time permanent basis for their offices based in Durbanville / Bellville area.

Requirements:
• 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role in FMCG, cosmetics/personal care or retail (non-corporate / SME preferable)
- BCom Logistics (Hons advantageous) or equivalent - APICS qualification a bonus
- Knowledge of supply chain and operations best practices, GMP, ISO-22716 advantageous
- Knowledge of Six-Sigma methodology and Lean Manufacturing methodologies /
- Manufacturing experience advantageous
- Strong Leadership and Analytical skills
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in all situations
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects with high attention to detail
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Computer proficient MS Office, Word/Excel/Power Point
- Previous experience using a formal ERP/MRP system
Key Performance Areas:
- Investigator: able to identify problems/concerns with execution of a duties and inform relevant parties
- Negotiator: Able to negotiate with Suppliers whilst maintaining good working relationships
- Analyser & Forecaster: Be able to forecast based on analytics, sales trends and knowledge of product life cycle
- Leader: Able to delegate and follow up, convince and lead in order to meet business deliverables
- Cultural ambassador: implement the companies’ values and culture in the execution of duties and through interactions with all
- Reporter: Able to compile and give feedback in a professional format to Senior Executives
- People Manager: Able to investigate and execute appropriate disciplinary, performance and motivational measures in line with People Support policies
