An exclusive Wine Estate in Stellenbosch is looking for a new team member to join as WINE COORDINATOR - Tasting Room. This is a multi-faceted position, with the overall focus on admin and communication. The person will be responsible for daily communication with guests when booking or purchasing wines.  Under the leadership of the Brand Manager, the wine coordinator will assist with the daily management tasks of the tasting room and assist in a junior role with certain marketing and sales tasks as well as all additional admin from the management team. We are looking for someone who will have the patience, personality and perseverance to thrive in this role.

  • Overseeing daily aspects of our tasting room operations, manage day-to-day operations of the tasting room: Staff scheduling; inventory management; maintaining cleanliness and organization and purchasing of supplies.
  • Oversees reservations and special requests
  • Managing all admin and overseeing fluency of events on premise
  • Assist Brand Manager with administrative tasks related to marketing and sales: update of tasting notes; website audits; stock management systems; facilitate local orders; events and tasting coordination, social media assistance
  • Willing to represent the brand at trade tasting and events
  • Database implementation and growth
  • Set-up of meetings for the internal team and taking minutes
  • Assist with all bookings (travel, dining etc.) from management
  • Assisting with ad hoc administrative tasks from winery management and farm management
  • Adhere strictly to the provisions and regulations as contained in the Liquor Act (No. 59 of 2003) and other regulations as may be applicable to the sale of alcoholic

  • Strong computer proficiency and data entry experience (Mailchimp, Shopify and design experience will be beneficial)
  • Able to work in fast-paced environment

R15 000 - R17 000 + (full medical aid) & pension
