This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in a similar estate or hospitality company, who thrives in a dynamic, guest-focused environment and is eager to contribute to the success of their accommodation and hospitality offerings.

You will play a key role in supporting the hospitality team and sell the estates accommodation offerings to the best of your ability while ensuring a 1st class client experience from first point of contact to any post stay communications. You will be responsible for managing accommodation inquiries, ensuring accurate bookings, and assisting with guest needs, all while maintaining a high standard of service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Service Excellence: Assist guests with accommodation inquiries, making sure all correspondence is up-to-date and accurate.
  • Personalized Guest Care: Attend to special requests and needs, ensuring every guest has a memorable stay.
  • Operational Coordination: Liaise with departments including the Night Manager, restaurant, functions, and housekeeping to meet guest expectations.
  • Financial Management: Manage and submit accommodation invoices, ensuring proper allocation for weddings, conferences, and other events.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Hospitality Manager and Front of House team to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
  • General Administration: Perform administrative tasks, including updating RoomRaccoon and managing accommodation bookings as per event specifications.

Additional Responsibilities:

The role may also involve supporting the Wedding Coordinator and assisting in other tasks as required, ensuring the smooth operation of all guest-facing activities.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Experience & Skills:
    • Previous experience in a similar role within a hospitality company or estate, ideally in a wine estate or luxury accommodation setting.
    • Excellent interpersonal and supervisory skills.
    • Strong organizational abilities with keen attention to detail.
    • Fluent in both English and Afrikaans.
    • Solid administrative and strong communication skills (via phone, email, in-person).
    • A professional and polished demeanor.
    • The ability to work irregular hours, including weekends and public holidays.
    • A team-oriented individual who enjoys working with people and providing top-tier customer service.
    • Own reliable transport to & from work, including weekends and public holidays
