Private Chef: Catering and House Management (Cape Town, CBD)

We have a unique opportunity for a PRIVATE CHEF / CATERING AND HOUSE MANAGER with a private family based in Cape Town’s City Bowl.

Minimum requirements:

• 3-5 Years previous experience in a similar chef role

• Hospitality / Culinary Qualification

• Ability to create a balanced, and healthy weekly meal plan for the family

• Event catering and ability to create innovative menus for group sizes up to 12 guests, as required

• Valid Driver’s License essential. (own vehicle beneficial)

• Baking skills will be beneficial

• Stable track record

Employment Terms:

• Catering and House Management

• 6 Day work week

• Off-Site Living

• Vehicle on-site for running errands

• Assisting the Housekeeper with certain managerial duties

• Overall responsible for the kitchen management, and operations

• Weekly menu planning (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner)

• Purchasing and inventory control
