Sijnn is looking for a new Winemaker

After more than 20 years of pioneering the previously undiscovered region of Malgas, Sijnn has established itself as one of the most innovative and highly regarded artisanal wine estates in the Cape.

Over 10 years ago Charla Haasbroek joined us to inaugurate Sijnn’s estate winery and take Sijnn and its wines to where they are today, earning herself young winemaker of the year en-route. Charla is now looking to hand on the baton to a new winemaker capable of taking Sijnn on the next phase of its journey.

Now the vineyards are fully established, the winery humming, and the terroir better understood, Sijnn is poised to produce even finer and more nuanced wines as Charla has already started to demonstrate.

So, we are looking for a winemaker with some good experience but now ready to fly on their own, and take us to the next level. This role requires the capacity to manage a small team, live in the beautiful, isolated oasis that is Sijnn, and with the ambition to see Sijnn fulfil its potential as one of the world’s most exciting terroirs.
