My client is the world specialist in the manufacture, customization and decoration of high-end glass bottles. They are seeking an experienced Import and Sales Administrator to join their team.
The Sales & Import Administrator is a key position in one of our client's strategic markets: wine and spirits
Support to the Sales Executive Team
Support to customers:
- Switchboard operator
- Issue price quotations & pricelists
- Issue proforma invoices
- Manage the order process: from order receipt to delivery
- Stock control
- Update of sales forecasts in the company's own system
- Manage sample stock
- Issue Intellectual Property Letters
Logistics component:
- Organize shipments to ensure on time deliveries
- Liaise with clearing agents on export and import sides
- Check all documents: invoices, sea waybills, packing lists
- Keep the company's shipment tracker up-to-date
- Keep customers posted with their shipments
Administration component:
- Office management: purchase of stationery, water, cleaning products
- Update customer data base with existing and new ones
- Send out credit applications
Accounting component: making us of Xero accounting software
- Place sales orders
- Place purchase orders with the company's head office
Profile
- 5 years minimum of relevant work experience in Business-to-Business sales, preferably related to packaging and/or Spirit and Wine sector
- Working knowledge of the glass packaging or other dry goods supplies to the spirit and wine producers (corks, labels, cardboard boxes, capsules, bottles)
- Fluent in English + Afrikaans
- Education background: matric at least (post matric preferred)
- Professionally stable (lasting): at least 3 years by each previous employers as we do not want to train somebody who would leave after a year or 2
- Computer literate: Microsoft Office / Google docs
- Ability to work daily with CRM software (database maintenance /update to): CRM used by the company: CRM on Demand by Oracle
- Reliable, self-driven, attention to details, initiative taker
- Experience in int’l logistics welcome

- The Digital and Marketing Department
