? Location: Stellenbosch, Western Cape

What You’ll Be Doing:
?‍? Taking charge of daily kitchen operations, assisting the Head Chef with all aspects of kitchen management.
? Crafting high-quality, innovative dishes that showcase the estate's unique culinary vision.
? Overseeing the preparation and presentation of dishes that maintain the highest standards of quality and consistency.
? Collaborating with the wine team to pair exceptional food with the estate’s world-class wines.
?‍? Leading and mentoring the kitchen team, ensuring a culture of excellence and efficiency.
? Managing kitchen inventory, ensuring stock levels are maintained and food waste is minimized.
? Contributing to the development of new menus and innovative culinary concepts.

What We’re Looking For:
✔ At least 5 years of experience in a high-end, fine dining kitchen, with experience in a leadership role.
✔ A passionate chef with an eye for detail and a creative approach to cuisine.
✔ Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and inspire a team in a fast-paced kitchen.
✔ A deep understanding of food safety and hygiene standards and the ability to implement them consistently.
✔ A team player with a proactive attitude, able to take initiative and work independently.
