Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome guests warmly and provide menus & wine lists
- Have in-depth knowledge of the menu, ingredients, and preparation methods
- Set tables with pristine linens, silverware, and glasses
- Take and process accurate food & drink orders efficiently
- Serve meals and drinks with attention to detail
- Clear tables and maintain a clean, organized dining area
- Offer desserts & coffee, and ensure accurate billing
- Uphold impeccable personal hygiene and appearance
Requirements:
- Grade 12 qualification
- Minimum 1-year experience as a waiter/waitress in fine dining
- Must be South African Citizen and live in the local Stellenbosch Area
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Hands-on experience with ordering & POS systems
- Basic math skills for accurate billing
- Comfortable serving distinguished clientele
- Professional, well-groomed, and enthusiastic personality
- Reliable transport to and from work
