Knus Karoo Kombuis requires a vibrant person, with an abundance of energy and enthusiasm to join the team in Paarl.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
- preparation of breakfast and lunch dishes
- pastry and cold section preparation
- taking inventory when needed
- discarding expired and spoiled food items stored in the stock rooms, refrigerators, and freezers
- performing basic cleaning duties and ensuring that workstations are properly sanitized
- plating and presenting meal items as per the Chef’s instructions.
Applications are awaited from persons who comply with the following:
- minimum of one years’ experience in a similar position
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- energetic personality
- ability to work under pressure
- attention to detail
- ability to use initiative and be self-driven
- own reliable transport
- sober habits
- willingness to work weekends and Public Holidays
- bakery experience advantageous
- contactable references available
