Tasting Room Manager - Zandvliet Wine Estate

Our prestigious Zandvliet Tasting Room in Robertson is seeking a Tasting Room Manager who has a positive attitude, is well organised, passionate about wine and the professionality to work in our Tasting Room and create exceptional experiences for our visitors.

 Key Responsibilities:

• Presentation and execution of wine tastings and pairings to clients;
• Driving the wine sales in the Tasting Room;
• Effective stock management;
• Responsible for the administration;
• Marketing and promotions – communication and implementation thereof;
• Personnel management;
• Arranging and management of Tasting room events;
• General maintenance of the Tasting room;
• Responsible for customer relations

 Minimum Qualifications and Skills requirements:

• Matric qualification and a relevant qualification will be advantageous
• Must be able to speak Afrikaans and English;
• Wine knowledge;
• At least 2 years’ experience in a Management role;
• Ability to multi-task in a busy environment while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere;
• Strong leadership and communication skills;
• Willing to work after hours and weekends;
• Well-presented; Reliable, honest and dependable;
• Effective and dedicated team player;
• Professional, client orientated and ambitious;
• Work under pressure, good problem solving skills and able to multi-task;
