Our client, a leading fruit exporter, requires a Human Resources Business

Partner to join their talent team. This position will be situated on-site, within the Wellington region. Overall responsibility for this role is to look after compliance with legislation, codes and industry standards and contributes and participates in HR and business strategy development and implementation.

Education & Experience

  • Relevant tertiary qualification, strong experience with labour legislation and dispute resolution
  • At least 3-5 years’ relevant HR Generalist experience is essential
  • Previous exposure to the agricultural industry highly advantageous
  • Comprehensive working knowledge of the following legislation essential: Employment Equity Act, Basic Conditions of Employment Act, Labour Relations Act, Skills Development Act, Compensation for Occupational Injuries and Disease Act and Occupational Health and Safety Act.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, AI tools and Power Point) with technological savvy strongly preferred.
  • Experience with payroll and HR information systems & HR Analytics
  • Employment Equity reporting and Learning & Development focal point, including submitting reporting of WSP & ATR to the SETAs – similar experience is essential
  • Project and Change Management experience Key Performance Areas (KPA’s):
