Villiera Wines, in Stellenbosch, is seeking a dedicated and hardworking Cellar Hand to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with day-to-day cellar operations, including fermentation, racking, pressing, wine receival and despatch.

• Help maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the cellar.

• Perform routine checks on wine quality and consistency during production.

• Monitor and ensure the proper handling of equipment and machinery.

• Support the winemaking team in any additional tasks as required.

Requirements:

• 4-5 years of experience in a cellar or winery environment.

• A strong passion for wine production and an eagerness to learn.

• Good physical fitness as the role involves manual labor and working with heavy equipment.

• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

• A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
