We are looking for a young, energetic new member to join our dynamic front of house staff at Lynx Collection (www.lynx-collection.com)
We require someone to assist our Restaurant and Tasting room team when we open our new Restaurant in October 2023.
Inherent Requirements:
- Degree or equivalent in Hospitality Management
- Worked at least one year in a similar Restaurant
- Extensive food and beverage (F&B) knowledge, with ability to remember and recall ingredients and dishes to inform customers and wait staff
- Certificate in First Aid/Fire Fighting/Health and Safety, would be advantageous
- Background in Restaurant would be advantageous
- Covid-19 vaccination mandatory
- Valid Drivers License
- Fluent in English
- Familiarity with restaurant management software, like Dineplan and Lightspeed

Main Responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily Front of the House and Back of the House restaurant and tasting room operations
- Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction
- Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints
- Regularly review product quality
- Organize and supervise shifts
- Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity
- Estimate future needs for goods, kitchen utensils and cleaning products
- Control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste
- Create detailed reports on weekly, monthly and annual revenues and expenses
- Train new and current employees on proper customer service practices
- Implement policies and protocols that will maintain future restaurant operations
- Cash-up
- Guest feedback reporting (TripAdvisor, E-mails, etc.)
- Follow and enforce all Health and Safety processes and procedures whilst maintaining the privacy of all guests
