The Wine Logistics Coordinator is passionate and energetic and will oversee the wine logistics and administration for the Winemaker and Wine Club Manager. The person will report directly to the Winemaker on all HR-related matters and leave it, wine-related matters, logistics, and orders, and on customer relationship matters, campaigns, website issues, etc.
The Employee’s responsibilities shall include, among other things, the following:
- Logistics regarding sending samples whether for local or export clients.
- Assisting the winemaker with WineMS admin. Adding deliveries, dry goods, and all consumables on the system.
- Maintaining the sensorial tasting schedule as per wine online regulations.
- Assisting with the ordering of dry goods where needed before production.
- Adjusting WineMS with the chemicals as received from suppliers and placing it on the system.
- Adding the wine sales orders to the system and supplying Procurement with the monthly reports.
- Assist with the logistics of moving stock to and from storage facility.
- Liaising with clients in terms of order placement.
- Logistics behind orders regarding national clients with the wine sales manager.
- Logistic arrangements with export/import of containers via JF Hillebrand;
- Deliveries, invoices, following up on payments.
- Assisting the wine sales manager with the wine club (record keeping, orders, contact; and
- Checking of stock levels at warehouses and distribution companies (Takealot, ASML logistics etc.).
