The position will be responsible for overseeing the entire bottling and packaging process, ensuring production targets are met, quality and safety standards are maintained, and the team performs effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the entire bottling and packaging process, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
Manage and motivate the bottling line team, providing guidance and support to achieve production goals.
Implement and maintain quality and safety standards (e.g., BRC,HACCP, IPW, WIETA and ISO to ensure product integrity and safety.
Conduct first-line technical maintenance of machinery and equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime.
Meet production targets and manage loss control, ensuring efficient resource utilization and minimizing waste.
Managing safety, driving a zero-tolerance approach to unsafe practices and engaging the team
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity
All other tasks as assigned
Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years experience in the Bottling, Beverage Production, or Manufacturing Industry.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong knowledge of production processes, equipment, and safety standards.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Problem-solving: Ability to identify and resolve technical and operational issues.
- Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal and people skills.
- Relevant Qualification: Relevant technical qualification in Engineering or Operations Management is advantageous.

3. Cost Accountant
A Wine Cellar in Paarl is seeking to employ a qualified Cost Accountant to join the finance team.
You will be responsible for calculation of conversion cost, stock verification, preparation of production reports and contribution towards the production planning process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, study, and collect data to determine costs of business activity such as raw material purchases, inventory, and labor in the agriculture, fuel, wine, and engineering sectors.
- Analyzing data collected and recording results.
- Analyzing changes in product design, raw materials, manufacturing methods, or services provided, to determine effects on costs.
- Making estimates of new and proposed product costs.
- Providing management with reports specifying and comparing factors affecting prices and profitability of products or services.
- Maintaining Cost Accounting System.
- Assisting in Month end close of the General Ledger.
- Compiling monthly Management Accounts and cost analysis reports
- Compiling weekly cash flow projections reports
- Conducting internal audits and monitoring compliance with financial policies and regulations.
- Identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
- Professional accounting qualification such as Chartered Accountant (CA) South Africa or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cost accounting and internal auditing, preferably in the wine, beverage and or building industries.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
