We have a unique opportunity for a Seasoned General Manager at a modern 250-seater, all-day eatery and wine bar, nestled in the heart of Rosebank’s thriving foodie district. We are looking for an experienced General Manager, with exceptional operational and leadership skills, strong financial and business acumen and experience in managing a large workforce and growing the sales and profit performance of a high-end restaurant.
 
Minimum Requirements
 
• Food and Beverage / Hospitality Qualification essential
• WSET or Similar qualification beneficial
• Culinary experience beneficial
• Minimum of 5 years‘ previous Food, Beverage experience in a high-end hospitality environment
• Strong Financial and Business acumen
• Experience in growing overall sales and profit performance
• Experience in improving operational efficiencies & compliance
• Experience in Compliance management including Labour, Health & Safety and Legal
• Excellent training and development ability
 
Key KPA’S – Detailed indicators to be discussed with shortlisted candidates
• Site Management including all IT related systems
• Customer Experience
• Compliance
• Effective Leadership
• Cost / Budget Management
 
Remuneration: R60 000 CTC (Neg)
