We are looking for an enthusiastic, well-rounded Chef De Partie to join our team at Bacco Estate.

Job Summary Key Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of a designated section of the kitchen, ensuring it runs smoothly and efficiently during service.
  • Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes in line with the estate’s culinary standards.
  • Work closely with the Sous Chef and Executive Chef to develop new dishes and refine existing menus.
  • Ensure strict compliance with hygiene, food safety, and health regulations.
  • Manage mise en place, stock levels, and waste control in your section.
  • Help mentor junior kitchen staff and contribute to a positive team culture.
  • Participate in events, wine pairings, and private dining experiences as required.

Requirements:

  • A formal culinary qualification or equivalent professional training.
  • Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in a similar role within a high end establishment. 
  • Strong technical skills and a deep understanding of modern cooking techniques.
  • A passion for seasonal, local ingredients and beautifully crafted food.
  • Excellent time management, organization, and teamwork.
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure in a fast-paced, guest-focused kitchen.


Salary starting at R10 000 per month excluding tips.
