Oversee the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and upkeep of all estate infrastructure, facilities, and utilities

Lead the engineering and facilities team, providing direction, support, and development to ensure optimal performance

Manage preventative maintenance schedules for buildings, machinery, HVAC, water systems, electrical and mechanical installations

Ensure legal and regulatory compliance for all equipment and facilities, including health and safety standards

Oversee capital projects, refurbishments, and infrastructure upgrades from planning through to execution

Liaise with external contractors, suppliers, and service providers to ensure quality and cost-efficiency

Develop and manage departmental budgets, cost control measures, and procurement planning
-
Ensure sustainability and environmental standards are maintained and improved across all operations
-
Conduct risk assessments and emergency planning procedures for the estate

Support cross-departmental needs relating to events, hospitality operations, and production requirements

Relevant tertiary qualification in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil), Facilities Management or a related discipline

Minimum 8–10 years’ experience in a similar leadership role within luxury estates, hospitality, or industrial environments

Sound understanding of building services, utilities, HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general estate infrastructure

Strong leadership and team management skills

Excellent project management and financial acumen

High level of attention to detail and commitment to quality standards

Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making capabilities

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Proficient in MS Office; experience with maintenance software systems advantageous

Valid driver’s licence essential
