Kendrick Recruitment is now seeking a Restaurant Supervisor for a prestigious luxury wine estate situated in Franschhoek. This opportunity is ideal for an enthusiastic and service-driven individual with a background in fine dining or upmarket restaurant environments.
Salary: R10,000 – R12,000 per month (Negotiable DOE)
Live-Out Position
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily operations of the restaurant to ensure smooth service delivery

Lead and motivate the front-of-house team to maintain a high standard of service

Assist in staff training, development, and performance management

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

Maintain excellent customer service standards and handle guest queries and complaints efficiently

Coordinate with the kitchen and other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience

Assist with inventory control, stock rotation, and ordering supplies
-
Ensure accurate cash-ups, billing, and POS system management

Support the Restaurant Manager in operational and administrative tasks
Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory role within a similar luxury restaurant or hospitality environment

Strong leadership and communication skills

Excellent guest relations and problem-solving abilities

Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

Professional appearance and demeanour

Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays

Solid understanding of food and beverage service
