My Client offers a challenging role to a dynamic individual, who is driven by attention to detail in reporting and able to evaluate scenarios to find root causes.

Reporting to the Food Safety & Quality Assurance Manager, you will be based at their Cape Town offices but also work closely with their grower base, customers and service providers.

Education & Experience:

  • Degree or Diploma in Agriculture 
  • 3-5 years’ experience in fruit export industry 
  • Strong administrative and time management skills 
  • Knowledge of table grapes, stone fruit, citrus, pome, avocado, strawberry & blueberry products 
  • Good computer skills (Office 365 Outlook, Excel and pivot tables) 
  • Understanding the dynamics and interaction of fruit production, packaging, supply chain and marketing.

Key Performance Areas

  • Full quality data management on customer reports: analysis and evaluation, distribution and saving of information; follow-up communication; assistance with claim evaluations and quantification; temperature analysis.
  • Account sale and invoice verification of quality linked data.
  • Annual analysis of quality data and compilation of grower review report.
  • Pre-shipment inspections coordination and result management onto ERP system.
  • Various administrative duties.
  • Ad hoc pre-shipment fruit quality inspections and reporting.
