Used Bottle Washer BARDI 6200 bph

In production

Manufacturer: Bardi
Model: NILO 2 P 145 - 174 - 168
Speed: 6200 BPH
Formats: 1.5 L

The used bottle washer Bardi 6200 bph, model NILO 2 P 145-174-168, performs bottle washing especially for 1.5 L containers. It processes up to 6,200 bottles per hour. The machine features 22 loading lanes and a single bottle entry.

The machine can wash bottles with a diameter of up to 131 mm, which makes this model particularly suitable for the “fiasco” bottle format. At the same time, it remains highly adaptable to other containers with similar dimensions. Thanks to adjustable transport components, users can switch bottle formats quickly without needing structural modifications.

Mechanical Structure and the “Pulp” System for Label Removal

Bardi builds the entire structure from stainless steel, which resists the aggressive chemical agents used during washing cycles. Moreover, internal transport components such as guides and conveyor elements withstand continuous mechanical loads with minimal wear over time. Bardi designed the internal transport system to maintain a constant throughput and, consequently, to prevent jamming as bottles move forward.

In particular, the “pulp” method removes labels by immersing bottles in a specially designed bath that separates paper and glue efficiently. Therefore, the system ensures that every bottle exits this stage completely clean and ready for rinsing. Furthermore, the compact layout allows technicians to inspect and service the machine easily. Consequently, the integration of durable materials with thoughtful engineering guarantees stable performance under demanding industrial conditions.

Washing Cycle and Temperature Control

The used bottle washer Bardi 6200 bph employs a multistage cleaning process that includes two soda-based baths followed by a final rinse with ozone. Each washing phase uses a targeted temperature to maximize sanitizing performance:

  • Pre-soak bath: Maintains a temperature around 40 °C to loosen light residues and encrustations.

  • Main soda bath: Operates at up to 80 °C and removes persistent contamination using an alkaline solution.

  • Intermediate rinses: Use sprays between 45 °C and 60 °C to eliminate detergent traces.

  • Final ozone rinse: Takes place at ambient temperature (~20 °C) and removes any remaining microorganisms thanks to ozone’s strong oxidizing effect.

Simultaneously, the system integrates a heat exchanger to recover thermal energy from the outgoing fluids and reuse it in heating stages. As a result, the machine lowers energy consumption, reduces operational costs, and promotes environmental sustainability. By comparison, older machines often lack energy-saving features and therefore generate higher resource demands.
