As a Regional Sales Manager (RSM) at Vinimark, you will lead a high-performing regional sales and merchandising team to drive volume and value growth across channels. You’ll be accountable for building trusted customer partnerships, enabling team performance through coaching and development, and ensuring excellence in the execution of brand and trade strategies. With a strong commercial focus, you will also manage budgets, pricing, and use data-driven insights to identify growth levers and guide regional success.

Roles and Responsibilities:
1. People Leadership & Capability Building
- Recruit, coach, and lead a sales and merchandising team
- Facilitate regular one-on-ones, trade visits, and team meetings
- Conduct quarterly Growth Conversations with direct reports
- Drive engagement and performance aligned with Vinimark’s leadership behaviours
2. Customer & Market Growth
- Strengthen relationships with key customers and accounts
- Execute customer engagement plans and quarterly reviews
- Identify and implement growth levers by region, channel or customer
- Monitor competitor activity and report market shifts
3. Execution of Brand & Trade Strategy
- Implement and evaluate trade marketing campaigns in-market
- Ensure campaign execution aligns with the 4 A principles (Availability, Affordability, Accessibility, and Awareness)
- Act as a key feedback channel between Sales, Brand, and Trade Marketing
4. Financial Management
- Forecast regional sales and manage expenses against budget
- Implement and monitor RRSP pricing and promotional compliance
- Conduct regular price surveys and escalate exceptions
- Track performance vs budget and manage corrective actions
5. Data & Sales Enablement
- Use data and insights to guide team performance and decision-making
- Monitor key sales KPIs through dashboards and internal tools
- Ensure reporting accuracy and turnaround for Sales Director and stakeholders
Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 5–7 years’ experience in FMCG or liquor industry sales, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
- Strong commercial acumen with proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and pricing
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop sales teams in a target-driven environment
- Deep understanding of on-con and off-con channels and customer dynamics
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills
- Data-literate, with experience using CRM or BI tools to drive decision-making
- A valid driver’s license
- Willingness to travel regionally
