A Cellar Assistant position has become available at Breede River Valley Bottling in Worcester.
The successful candidate will report to the Winemaker for the instruction of job responsibilities, the core functions being conducting wine analysis (O2/CO2/FI/SO2) and ready wines for production (sparge/adjust O2/CO2/SO2).
The following criteria are applicable for candidates applying for the above vacancy:
- Grade 12
- Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in a cellar environment
- Knowledge of wine processing and bottling processes (advantageous)
- Understanding of CO2/O2/SO2 and filter indexes
- Numerical skills essential
- Good communication skills
- SKOP 1 (preferable)
- Fork Lift License (preferable)
Renumeration for the position will be market related and Employment Equity Criteria may be applied that is in line with the company’s policy requirements.
