Our client, a specialist cool-climate wine brand, is looking to appoint a National Sales & Marketing professional to their team.
the goal of this appointment is to take full responsibility for the sales and marketing function with the overall objective of conceptualizing the activities that will redirect this considered wine brand on an exciting, focused path.
your duties will include the brand & sales management in all sectors including.
- domestic & international sales
- wine club
- tasting room
- supportive events
you will direct the different teams through leadership, experience and tailormade activities.
this position will provide immense reward for an astute wine professional with an innate understanding of wine branding, the stories that lie behind it and the people that become it.
you will have the ability to create marketing opportunities that not only build the brand but also result in steady growth of sales in new sectors. the ability to grasp what this brand has to offer and communicate its value to consumers is imperative. you will be both creative and analytical, wine passionate yet business astute, and most importantly, driven to add value at board level.
an appropriate qualification, wine industry experience and a track record of engaging with stakeholders will enhance your suitability. you will be required to travel both local & international.
you can be based in either gauteng or the western cape, however you will be required to travel both local & international.
