We have an exceptional opportunity for an experienced SOUS CHEF to join a leading catering company based in the Cape Winelands. Our client offers personalised menus for any size event and take extreme measures in service and quality to ensure unique food experiences.
 
We are looking for an experienced SOUS CHEF with sound knowledge of using state of the art cooking techniques, a strong culinary background, excellent knowledge of catering operations, and ability to lead and manage the preparation and execution of high quality menus. Someone that is forward thinking, resourceful with a stable track record.

It is a pre-requisite to have a valid driver’s license and own reliable transport. Applicants residing the Helderberg / Winelands region will receive preference.

Position Requirements:

• A diploma in Professional Cookery preferred
• Previous catering experience beneficial
• Valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle essential
• Stable track record
• Excellent record of kitchen management
• Excellent time management skills
• High level of attention to detail
• Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently
• Capable of delegating multiple tasks and provide excellent support
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Able to work under pressure
• Computer literate

Remuneration
R25 000 – R27 000 Basic (Negotiable)
