Our client, a busy upmarket Bistro-Style restaurant situated on a boutique winery in Durbanville, is looking to employ an experienced Pastry Chef, with a passion for pastry and baking.
 
We are looking for an individual with a formal qualification in Culinary Arts / Pâtisserie, creative, pays attention to detail, with sound knowledge of sanitation principles, patisserie and baking techniques and the ability to work under pressure in a fast paced kitchen environment.
 
As a Pastry Chef, you will take part in the daily pastry section’s production and baking activities.
 
Position Requirements:
 
• Qualification in Professional Cookery / Pâtisserie
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Pastry Chef role
• Valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle beneficial
• Stable track record
• Creative and passionate about pastry and baking
• High level of attention to detail
• Able to work under pressure
