Our client is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales and Marketing Manager to lead sales efforts and promote a range of premium cream liqueurs and spirits in both the on- and off-consumption sectors.

This is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated, well-organised, and influential professional with a passion for the spirits and wine industry.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and implement a strategic sales and marketing plan
  • Manage and grow key accounts and client relationships
  • Conduct market analysis and monitor industry trends
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and retailers
  • Plan, execute, and evaluate promotional campaigns
  • Conduct regular trade visits with distributors, retailers, and buyers
  • Strengthen brand presence and ensure consistent brand messaging
  • Manage social media and handle media relations
  • Prepare and manage sales budgets; track and report variances
  • Keep detailed records of all sales transactions
  • Lead, motivate, and manage sales representatives and agents
  • Set annual sales objectives and monitor team performance
  • Report weekly on sales activities and results
  • Drive new product development and oversee product launches
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery to clients

REQUIREMENTS:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Sales or Marketing is highly advantageous
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a sales and marketing management role
  • Strong knowledge of the South African spirits and wine industry
  • Excellent administrative, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Proven track record in managing the full sales cycle and achieving targets
  • Ability to lead a team and work independently
