Stellenbosch

I’m a certified sommelier from Bordeaux, France, currently managing a wine shop and bar where I’ve had the opportunity to introduce my customers to wines from around the world including several from Stellenbosch, which I proudly represent on my shelves.

Tasting and selling these wines sparked a deep curiosity in me, and earlier this year, I decided to dedicate all my vacation time to travel to South Africa.
I spent two weeks volunteering during the February harvest in Stellenbosch, working hands-on at a local winery.
The experience was incredibly rewarding: I was warmly welcomed and truly impressed by the quality, energy, and identity of South African wines.

That immersion only deepened my desire to come back and contribute more meaningfully to this dynamic wine region. This July, I’ll be moving to Stellenbosch region for several months and potentially longer, depending on work opportunities in the wine industry. I’m now looking for an opportunity to join a passionate, hard-working team at a winery, vineyard, or wine-focused business in the greater Stellenbosch area.

I hold a sommelier diploma from Bordeaux and have one year of hands-on experience managing both a wine shop and a wine bar. I’ve been trusted with a high level of autonomy, including cellar management, daily operations, and mentoring interns. Before entering the wine industry, I completed a Master’s degree in quality engineering, but my love for wine quickly became a full-time calling. I’m eager to learn more about South African viticulture and share what I know about French wines.

I believe wine is a universal language, and I value the cultural exchange it allows. I’m currently preparing WSET Level 3 exam to continue growing in knowledge and perspective. I’m enthusiastic, reliable, and genuinely excited about the idea of learning from and contributing to a team that values both tradition and innovation. If there is any opportunity to meet and collaborate, I would be delighted to hear from you.
